‘Finding New Life in the Spirit’
By Loretta Fulton
Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Road, will begin a 7-week, “Finding New Life in the Spirit” seminar on Thursday, Jan 8.
The public is invited. Cost is $5 per person for the book that will be used. Each of the seven weekly sessions will be held 7-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays. The following is from the church’s website:
“The seminar has been attended by millions of Catholics and other Christians and is an introduction to a life lived in the power and joy of the Holy Spirit. It is designed to deepen our prayer life and bring us into a closer relationship with God. Each session will give you a greater awareness of the presence and working of the Holy Spirit in your life—the grace and gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a beautiful preparation for Lent.” Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, is on Feb. 18
Each session will include prayers, songs of praise, explanation of the session, talks, personal testimonies, small groups, and fellowship. Click here to register. The schedule follows:
Session 1: God’s Love
Session 2: Salvation
Session 3: The New LIfe
Session 4: Receiving God’s Gifts
