Serving begins at 11:45, followed by a devotional, brief business meeting, and the program. A $3 donation is requested for lunch.

Myles Werntz
Werntz will speak on “Isolation, Division, and Loneliness: What Christians can and cannot promise.” He will discuss Dietrich Bonhoeffer and several contemporary Christian saints and ways in which Christian community helps us not to overcome loneliness, but to be able to bear it well.
Werntz formerly taught at Logsdon Seminary at Hardin-Simmons University. When the seminary closed in 2020, he approached ACU about starting the Baptist Studies Center. This fall marks his seventh year to lead the center.
