The council issued the following news release about the service. National Day of Prayer is today, Thursday, May 6.

“This year, many prominent spiritual leaders from our community donated their time and voices for our video series of interviews and tours of local houses of worship. These leaders and other amazing volunteers have agreed to offer prayers for our National Day of Prayer video.
We hope you will create space in your day for these prayers from many different faith traditions as part of your celebration of the National Day of Prayer.
