Bishop Michael Sis of the Diocese of San Angelo announced clergy assignments effective July 1. Among them was Deacon Francisco Camacho as parochial vicar of Holy Family Parish in Abilene.

Rev. Kevin Lenius was assigned as parochial administrator of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in San Angelo and director

of St. John Catholic Campus Outreach at Angelo State University.

Lenius, the son of  James and Denee Lenius of Abilene, is a 2012 graduate of Cooper High School. He was ordained to

the priesthood on May 22, 2021, and celebrated his first Mass as a priest the next day at Holy Family Catholic Church in

Abilene, his home church growing up.

He earned a Licentiate in Canon Law degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., in 2025. The d

gree equips him to serve as a lawyer in church law in the Catholic Church.
