Hi, I’m Laura Lacey Johnson.

When my kids were little, they loved going to the grocery store for one reason. They wanted to ride in the shopping carts with steering wheels, especially the race cars. They’d sit in the front of the race cart and turn the wheel whichever direction they wanted, pretending they were in control.

Some of us wish life worked that way.

Our desire for control, clarity, and certainty makes us wish we were in the driver’s seat.

But we need help from the only One who is in control.

In Psalm 32:8 (NASB), God promises, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”

Today, cling to the only One who sees the future – your Heavenly Father who promises to lead you turn-by-turn.
