“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:14-16
Even been wonderstruck by the beauty of the stars?
Hi, I’m Laura Lacey Johnson.
Stars burn bright all the time, but we can only see their light at night when darkness surrounds.
That’s a good reminder for those of us who follow Christ.
Like the stars, we’re to shine bright all the time, but especially when things get dark.
Don’t believe the lie that your light won’t make a difference.
Jesus urged us to shine.
In Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV), Jesus said: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
When you let your light shine, the world gets brighter and God’s kingdom grows stronger.
