Abilene Adventures in Faith, Journalism and Political Activism

Doug Mendenhall, professor of journalism at Abilene Christian University and columnist of note, will be guest speaker Tuesday, Feb. 18, for the monthly meeting of the Abilene Interfaith Council.

The meeting will being at noon at the Abilene Public Library’s South Branch, next to Penney’s in the Mall of Abilene. The program, titled, “Abilene Adventures in Faith, Journalism, and Political Activism,” will focus on the Christians’ perceptions and interaction in the public sphere.

The public is invited to the free meeting.  A potluck lunch or pizza will be available by donation. Drinks will be provided.
