Dr. Sandra Hazelip, a world traveler, was honored Nov. 9 at Hillcrest Church of Christ for her numerous trips to one particular spot on the globe, Zambia.

Hazelip and her good friend, Ellie Hamby, who spends part of the year each year helping with the Namwianga Zonal Health Center in Zambia, plan to go around the world in 80 days on their 80th birthdays, which come in three years.

For now, they are happy being travel companions to Zambia. Hazelip was cited at a dinner Nov. 9 for her volunteer efforts at the Zambia Mission.
