The Abilene Association of Congregations, with Dr. Richard Beck as guest speaker, will meet at Highland Church of Christ on Wednesday, Feb. 26. This is a change from the original meeting place announced earlier.

Beck will talk about his latest book, The Shape of Joy. The meeting will begin with lunch at 11:45 a.m. A $3 donation is requested for lunch. Beck is a popular professor of psychology at ACU, a prolific author, and in-demand speaker.

In his newest book, The Shape of Joy, Beck delves into our world where mental health issues and loneliness are at an all-time high. Beck argues that we are “struggling because our shape is currently curved inward.”
