On Friday, June 24, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that legalized abortion. Friday’s 6-3 ruling came in a case that originated in Mississippi styled Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.  Almost immediately, churches and other institutions began weighing in on the decision that reverses almost 50 years of federal protections for abortion. The
