AIC Welcomes Science Ambassador JD Stillwater
The public is invited to hear JD Stillwater speak on “Nature’s Scripture: The Interfaith Promise of Science” at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Old Main Auditorium on the McMurry University campus.
The free program will be live-streamed, hosted by the Abilene Interfaith Council. Stillwater is a science ambassador and former classroom teacher. He is one of the few scientists allowed by NASA to handle moon rocks.
Stillwater “shares insights from how nature works that are a source of inspiration and interfaith spirituality,
a promotional flier says.
Read a Q&A with Abilene Interfaith Council President Susanna Lubanga.
Stillwater has spoken at The Parliament of the World’s Religions, academic conferences, on college campuses, and at civic clubs.
