Winter Lightfest Lights Up Friday

Winter Lightfest, which benefits the United Way of Abilene, opens Friday, Nov. 24, and runs through Dec. 30.

You’ll have 16 chances to see the magnificent light display, which is a partnership between the United Way and Christmas Decor by Lone Star Electric. This is the fifth year for the display, which features a three-quarter mile paved walking path through almost 3 million lights. Location is at  2250 EN 10th St.

You’ll have the opportunity to visit with Santa, participate in a scavenger hunt, and enjoy s’mores and hot chocolate. Click here for full details.

Parking at Winter Lightfest is FREE!
Parking lot opens at 5:30 p.m.
Last entry to the parking lot granted at 8:30 p.m.; if you are providing transportation to or from the parking lot, you must arrive in the parking lot before 8:30 p.m.
