The public is invited to join members of the Abilene Interfaith Council on Tuesday, Oct. 17, for an evening of “Practicing Spiritual Disciplines.”

The monthly meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Garden of Hope at First Central Presbyterian Church on the corner of North Fourth and Beech streets. Rev. Grace Sosa, Rev. Carlo Sosa-Ortiz, Dr. Angela Nicolini-Starr, Susanna Lubanga, and Ashley Rust will lead the program, which will include hands-on learning experiences.

Each participant will be able to choose to walk the labyrinth, practice yoga, make a mandala, or reflect through journaling.
