The Christian Science Society of Abilene is hosting a free lecture that is open to the public on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Mark McCurties, a Christian Science lecturer, teacher, and practitioner will speak at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Foundation of Abilene, 850 N1st St. His topic will be “The Joy of Beginning with God.”

A blurb on the local Christian Science website says:

“Everyone is invited to this free talk by Mark McCurties on February 15.  Mark will talk about all of us, the loved children of God, and how we have the right to experience all the good that God causes, including finding solutions to the problems we face. Our understanding of that good can help us to experience more of that goodness in the form of health, peace and safety. Come and learn about God and His promises in The Bible.”
