Cantor Protests Archbishop’s Statement

I have to deeply protest the inclusion of the article by the Archbishop of Canterbury regarding the hospital bombing in Gaza.  The idea that this was caused by Israel was nearly immediately debunked, but those with an agenda and the media, always looking to demonize Israel, have run with this misinformation.

The attack as described by Welby, violated the sanctity and dignity of human life.  The “attack” was clearly caused by a misfired rocket from Gaza and there were very few casualties.  The idea of perpetrating this hoax is reprehensible.

Urging Israel to be proportionate in its response also defies imagination.  What exactly is proportionate here?  Hamas is a cancer that must be exterminated.  Do any of you realize the death toll from the most brutal attack on Jews since the Holocaust is the equivalent of over 40 9-11s happening simultaneously?  What would be the correct “proportional” response there?

This reeks of Jew-hatred from the Archbishop, the Episcopal diocese, and all those ever so eager to blame Israel, and should not be perpetrated by this weekly newsletter.  At very least, a retraction should be sent out so as not to perpetuate this lie.
