VISTA POSITION AVAILABLE
An AmeriCorps VISTA position is available through the United Way of Abilene to work with the Texas Homeless Network.
The job pays $12,000 for the one-year position. Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s degree and experience in homeless services, project management, communications, and/or nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities include collaborating with local homeless coalition and other stakeholders to identify community needs and priorities. Benefits include eligibility for an Education Award or cash stipend.
